How to pick the right roll for printing labels?

The correct label size for your printer is crucial. If the label roll doesn't fit in the printer, you'll have to use an external label unwinder. Check that the inner core as well as the outer diameter of the label rolls will fit in the printer before purchase. While each printer will have its own set of specifications, we developed our label rolls to work with the most common printer brands.

Choosing the right paper rolls to order isn't always straightforward. To further complicate matters, there are three different types of paper rolls: Bond, Thermal, and Carbonized. Thermal rolls are used to create text or images using heat. Thermal paper rolls are extremely heat and friction sensitive. The top coat on thermal rolls might be glossy or smooth.

When ordering from Optimedialabs.com, you can select from a variety of paper types, including glossy and matte.
